Activate Audio and Video Application

TUICallKit (including TUICallEngine SDK) is based on Tencent Cloud Instant Messaging IM and Real-time audio and video TRTC Audio and video communication components built from two paid PaaS services. You can follow the steps below to activate relevant services and experience a 7-day free trial:

  1. Log in to IM Console and click Create New Application, enter your application name in the pop-up dialog box, and click OK.
  1. Click on the application just created to enter the Basic Configuration page, and find the Activate Tencent Real-time Audio and Video Service ribbon in the lower right corner of the page, and click Free trialYou can activate the 7-day free trial service of TUICallKit.
  1. Find SDKAppID and SecretKey on the same page and record them, they will be in Get login signature userSig used.

Note: After clicking Free Trial, some people who have used real-time audio and video TRTC before Users of the service will be prompted:

TRTC service is suspended. Please check if the package balance is 0 or the Tencent Cloud accountis in arrears

Because the new IM audio and video calling capabilities are integrated with Tencent Cloud Real-time audio and video TRTC and IM are two basic PaaS services, so when Real-time audio and video TRTC’s free quota (10,000 minutes) has expired or been exhausted. This will result in failure to activate this service. Here you can click TRTC Console to find the corresponding The application management page of SDKAppID is shown as an example. After activating the postpaid function, enable the application again to experience the normal audio and video calling capabilities.
